There are many other activities organised by ex-pats, it is a very active small town really...The noisy, busy and more expensive Costas are just 20 mins. away, Torrox Costa the closest, with its beautiful beaches and with Nerja 10 minutes further with its wonderful international shops and also cove beaches. Malaga airport is a hour away from my home.
My home was formerly a very large town house situated on the edge of Competa. It is semi detached and a corner property with wonderful vistas all around from its circular balcony. I had the property renovated in 2004 into two large, spacious apartments with separate title deeds. I sold the upper apartment many years ago and I lived happily in the spacious garden apartment until I returned to the UK to help with care of my elderly mother in late 2010 and now use the property as a rare holiday home. I have a maintenance team care for the interior and the garden.The walled garden has less shrubs now, but 2 lemon trees, hibiscus, geraniums, oleander and jasmine survive! Looking to swap for: I WOULD SWAP/SELL my spanish home for any kind of small lock up and go holiday home, still in Spain, preferably on the East coast from Malaga Airport. Other locations also considered but close to an airport or with a good regular bus service there. If an apartment, low community charges! I am open to any offer including a small property in the south of the UK, near the sea. It could be a well maintained holiday park home/Lodge in a nice tranquil location with good recommended owners. I would also consider a residential park home also on the south coast of the UK. I could add further finance for the right property and location.
