We have baby number 2 on the way and want to move closer to grandparents possibly France! We have worked hard to create this lovely new 'lifestyle choice' business and it works well with family life. It has a licence to operate, insurance and is very popular with tourists and Greeks alike. It is new and word is spreading rapidly..We have already hosted several birthday parties, group bookings and have a local hotel visit us once a week. The Olive Ranch (www.theoliveranch.gr) (10 000m2) is an ethical, family run children’s farm with onsite accommodation, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty over looking the white mountains 360 panoramic views! At the Olive Ranch children can see, feed and touch an assortment of animals. There are various provisions and packages on offer picnic areas, children’s play spaces (Wooden), birthday parties, bike hire, pony and donkey treks, workshops, horse loans, accommodation, venue hire and group bookings as well as wholesome and relaxing family days out! We have plans drawn up by an architect for two buildings; A small onsite cafe (wood/ cob) a small accommodation space (wood cob). The land is the correct size and has the correct 'uses of the land' for these to go through planning permission without problems.
The Olive Trees: The land has 75+ Olive trees which provides a bounty of olive oil each year. Also boasts several fruit trees and bushes (including about 30 newly planted orange trees) and a walnut tree.
This venture would ideally suit a creative family who would love to address their work life balance and work in harmony with nature. Ideally have some experience of working with animals and possibly children. It would also suit a company or business man/ lady who could continue the growth of the company.. The farm animals will remain (except 1 or 2) so it is vital to us that we find a buyer (or swaper) with good intent. We won't sell unless we are certain the animals will continue to be well cared for.

Looking to swap for: A Place in South of France that is charming and characterful, pretty much finished with at least 3 bedrooms ideally with accommodation and or out buildings that we can use as an art studio/ stables and or rent out as a short or long term let. We would like a little land for grazing 2 ponies. Must be close to school and amenities and ideally close to a beach but we are flexible with our requirements.
