Lovely rural, forested remote, 5 bedroom (5 Shower cubicle) property with Private Pool and decking, at the end of a private Road.(2 of the 5 bedrooms are in a separate Gite)/ The lovely home is idyllic and very private. Giant Trees overlook the pool and the sun dances off the water when it is shining.

The Bungalow and separate 2 bedroom gite is in a wooded area, and the whole property is secluded, fenced and gated and surrounded by wooded forests. There is a fire-place for the winter months and wood is easily available both from the estate and the forests nearby. No-one is looking!

Our nearest neighbour is 450m away, and 470m away is a friendly French man with a Tractor who keeps bees. He can be hired as a gardener and will help you tend the 3 acres of wooded land with his young son.

The house Overlooks a beautiful valley. From the terrace there are exquisite views down a hill into the bustling town of Aiguillon, a town situated in the Lot et Garonne, Aquitaine area of France. Aiguillon is a lovely friendly town with a Church community

It could be used as a guest house, B&B or as it has been for us, a lovely, peaceful, Private home amidst 3 acres of hilled land with many, many trees. Could be suitable establishment for a family who wishes to house a horse or sheep, as there is sufficient acreage for animals to graze on if preferred. All that is needed would be some stabling to be added.

We have a Beautiful Patio, which overlooks the 11m x 4m pool - accessible from 2 of the bedrooms and the Lounge. At the rear of the property is a further ground level patio area which has a brick, inbuilt BBQ. All bedrooms are equipped with individual showers. The property is gated and the views from the top of the drive down to the house below are breathtaking. The drive does however need some new cement in places . There are some magnificent views down into the valley below.

Basically the first property, the BUNGALOW contains a lounge with American style kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 showers, 3 handbasins and 2 toilets. The separate Gite consists of 2 further rooms, 2 individual showers, 2 toilets and 2 hand basins.

In the main house, there is a room just off from the main bedroom containing a toilet, hand wash basin and a Shower, this bedroom contains french windows onto the terrace which overlooks the pool and decking.

The second bedroom is accessed through a door as you proceed from the lounge, a shower is situated in the corner of the bedroom. Just prior to this bedroom there is an alcove containing a wash basin and a door leading to a individual toilet.

The other bedroom in the main home contains a private shower and wash basin also.

The separate Gite is 2 bedrooms, private showers and toilets

Nearest town is Aiguillon 47190 3km away. Nearest larger shops either Tonneins (10km) or Cathedral City Agen or vast Shopping area of Boe is 27km away. If you prefer old-style Catholicism. - The Traditional Liturgy - there is a stunningly located Benedictine Monastery in St Pierre du Clairac, who celebrate the Mass old style, with sung chant in Latin.

This parkland house is truly the ideal if you are wishing to live in a private home with stunning views - and like to spend your summer swimming privately in a wildlife nature reserve environment. Red squirrels run across the decking by the swimming pool and deer sometimes find their way into the garden. 2.5 hours from scenic Lourdes - Blessed Waters and town of many Miracles- 3 hours from beautiful Gavarnie, home of Europe's Largest Waterfall and the famous statue of Notre Dame des Neiges. The home is also only 1.5 hours from Bordeaux the nearest international Airport.

A bit of renovation externally is needed, some paving slabs around the swimming pool need of re-cementing and parts of the drive - the purchaser would be required to put in a new septic tank. When all is said and done, if you want a home in your own private idyllic setting - you will like the peace that this has to offer. It is very tranquil, a beautifully situated remote idyllic property only 2.5 hours drive from historic Lourdes and the Mountains.

Might also consider a property in a scenic area of Wales, Norfolk, Yorkshire or Hereford. We prefer S.W Cornwall though if available to us.
