Having said this though there is the short drive (5 mins) to the golden beach of Coral Bay and many people say that this is the best beach in the whole of Cyprus as the water is clear and calm - ideal for snorkelling & scuba diving so this area will appeal to all ages. Peyia village houses the town hall (municipality), a large supermarket, Pharmacy and various shops. There are also numerous restaurants and tavernas. A new English style health centre offers excellent service.There are the banks with numerous ATM's.
